Oberrider 29 Pro

from CHF 3'890.00

Whether steep uphill, rapid downhill, tight turns, fast trails or drops - the lightweight with 180mm travel is robust, agile and takes on any challenge. When endurance meets toughness, the upper rider convinces with an impressive geometry and its tidy appearance with integrated cables.

The Oberrider - made for challenges

The new Oberrider convinces with its versatility and covers all varieties of Enduro. In the usual Thömus Custom principle you can customize your bike to your individual needs. In addition to choosing the right equipment, suitable wheels and the right ergonomics on the bike, we offer three different suspension travel setups with 150mm, 170mm or 180mm. The stiff and robust full carbon frame offers with a steep seat angle and the low weight of only 2.4kg extremely good climbing capabilities and enough pressure on the front wheel to master steep ramps. Downhill, the upper rider convinces with smoothness and a lot of control. The geometry can be adjusted to personal preferences via a flip chip. The steering angle can be changed by 0.5 ° and the bottom bracket height by 7mm. With a flat steering angle and low center of gravity, the smoothness can be increased once again, with a steeper angle and more ground clearance the climbing ability - just according to your preferences. The geometry makes the most of the advantages of the large 29 inch wheels without losing the playful character. Therefore, the steering angle changes depending on the frame height to ensure the most agile steering behavior even with small frame sizes. Tires with up to 2.6" width provide sufficient traction and control even in the most challenging terrain. An integrated protection for chainstay and down tube are of course included and the integrated chain guide keeps the chain reliably on the chainring. In addition, the frame with two ISCG attachment points under the bottom bracket offers the possibility to attach an additional Bashguard.
